Cost of Study

Study expenses vary from university to university and course to course. But, following are some of the expenses that are common in almost all the courses and universities and thus can be referred to in order to get an overall idea of expenses.

A Masters course may cost around $12000 approximately for a semester, whereas a diploma will be a bit easy on pocket. Plus you can also work along with your studies and earn some extra points for permanent residency of Australia.

Vocational courses however will cost near about 3lacs for a semester that continues for 6  months.

  • These figures do not include living expenditure of a student.

Other than that, the annual cost of living as fixed by the Australian High Commission are as under :-

The Living Cost for Student   –     AUD 20,290 p.a

The Living Cost for Spouse    –      AUD 7,100 p.a

The Living Cost for child        –      AUD 3,040 p.a

Tuition fees may amount to anywhere between Australian dollars 10,000 – 30,000 per year. The fees vary depending upon the institution and program and living expense is approx. same as mentioned above. In general, living expenses range from A$ 10,000 to A$ 15,000 per annum, depending on individual lifestyle.

International students can work for a maximum of 20 hours per week during studies and full time during breaks. This arrangement helps the students to live comfortably in Australia.
