Australia is the only nation on the globe that is a continent as well. The capital city of Australia is Canberra. It is spread over a distance of 7,617,930 square km thus, claiming to be the biggest island on earth. It also holds a position of being the 6th largest country in the world in land area and being the 14th largest economy in the world. It has the 9th largest industrialized economy in the world and the 15th richest country in per capita terms.

Australia has a well-developed education system with students from all the nations studying in its colleges and universities. These international students are increasingly passing out from the colleges and universities every year. Australia is well known for its high standards of living which i stated as one of the highest in the world. Its clean environment, health services, educational opportunities and standard of living come together to make it a beautiful place to live in. STUDENT FEES STRUCTURE

The tuition fees of an institution is from Australian $6000 to Australian $14000 per semester. But this completely depends upon type of course and college as well. Earlier, their used to be 8 sub-classes(570-576) for student visa in Australia which is now changed to just one sub-class 500.

STUDENT WORK RIGHTS

A student is allowed to work 20 hours a week maximum when the academic months are going on. And during vacation he/she can work for unlimited hours. However, an international student who is studying master’s degree by research or a PhD degree can work for unlimited hours even during the course.

DEPENDENT WORK RIGHTS

The spouse of a student studying bachelors or diploma in Australia is allowed to work for 20 hours a week. But, if the student is studying in a post graduate course or a PhD then the spouse is allowed to work for unlimited hours.

POST STUDY WORK RIGHTS

Graduates who have completed a Bachelors or a Masters degree by coursework in Australia is eligible to apply for a work visa of 2 years after the completion of studies.

Graduates who have completed a Masters degree by research work are eligible for a 3 year work visa post studies.

Graduates who have completed a Doctorate degree are eligible to apply for a 4 year work visa after their degree completion.

Students studying in any courses other than these are eligible for the Temporary Skilled Graduate [subclass 485] visa. This is a temporary visa that allows an 18 month stay to work in Australia

  • If a student’s course is of duration 12 months or longer then his/her spouse as well as children can accompany him/her.

Usually, if a student is under 18 years of age then he/she will require a guardian to take care of him/her in Australia.

4 Passport size Photographs with White background and the photo should be in JPEG format.

Qualification Documents (Original & Photocopy) from Matriculation onward, Senior Secondary, Graduation, IELTS Score and all the documents should be in notarized form.

Passport all pages for all passport and previous passports.

E- Medical i.e HAP ID

Financial Documents / Education Loan and it should be 3 months old.

Income Tax Returns for all sponsors (3 Years) & Pan Card

Work Experience Letter (Photocopy)
